30 day blog challenge; day 15 “What’s in my earliest memory”

When someone asks me about my earliest memory, only one image appears in front of my eyes. I don’t think it’s my earliest memory, but this is what I remember the best.

It’s a sunny summer’s day, I’m in the homestead. I am about 5 year old girl who comes there for the first time and doesn’t have any friends. I thought that I had to find some friends so I dressed up and went to look for them. After some time I came to a large house and near it were lying enormous cement blocks. On these blocks was sitting a girl, who was my age . I came to her and asked what was she doing, but she didn’t want to talk. Then I went home, broughts some toys and came back. I sat near her and started talking about summer holidays. After few minutes she also started talking and we had a really nice conversation. We were playing together all summer. All the most beautiful moments of childhood happened there with her. We became best friends and it continued for another 6 years, when finnaly we started communicating less. I went to one school, she went to another. After few years we didn’t talk at all. Now we are friends on facebook, and always promise each other to meet sometime, but never do.

And now I still remember this story in the late evenings with the cup of tea. My first friendship. We were inseparable friends and promised each other always be. But now it is only good memories that will never happen again.

30 day blog challenge; day 3 “My favourite quote”

Quotes are like inspiration. They make us think about life, world, people, ourselves, feelings, family, friends and all other important things. Some of quotes can become a life motto. I have one quote from my favourite book “Three comrades” that always makes me move forward and appreciate my life.

The most uncanny thing in the world is time. Time. The monument through which we live and yet do not passes. This infernal machine, that ticks and ticks, that goes on ticking and that nothing can stop ticking.  You can stay an avalanche, a landslide – but not this.
